COVID PROCEDURES
We will be following all New Jersey regulations and guidelines for our event. For the most up to date list please go to the NJ Health website.
Safety Tips For Fully Vaccinated Individuals:
You can resume many activities that you did prior to the pandemic. You can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by law, a business, or a workplace.
If you've been around someone who has COVID-19, you do not need to stay away from others or get tested unless you have symptoms. Note: There are exceptions for those living in high-risk congregate settings like nursing homes and homeless shelters.
If you are visiting New Jersey or returning home after travel, you do not need to get tested before or after travel or self-quarantine.
Safety Tips for Unvaccinated Individuals:
Wear a mask, wash your hands, practice social distancing, and stay home if you are sick.
Indoor gatherings are particularly dangerous places for the virus to spread.
Avoid contact with people outside of their households for 14 days before the gathering.
Delay travel until you are fully vaccinated based on CDC guidance. For more information, refer to the CDC's guidance for domestic travel.
Guests should avoid direct contact, including handshakes and hugs, with others outside their household.
Masks are required for all unvaccinated individuals during the competition
Dancers will not be required to wear a mask while on stage dancing
Masks will not be required for fully vaccinated individuals but are recommended for heavily populated areas within the facility
Thanks to feedback from parents and teachers, and we have decided to make a few minor changes to the syllabus to be more inclusive for our Future Champions competitions
We have added the option of light jig for Under 8, giving dancers the choice of light or treble jig
You dance the speed appropriate to your level
We have clarified that Bun Grad C dances 40 bars in the light jig (a typo in a previous version of the syllabus)
Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing all our dancers in Atlantic City!
